National Unity Platform (NUP) presidential Candidate a.k.a Bobi Wine told Nakaseke people to wake and resist what he tagged as Criminal Regime and play their part in changing the country’s leadership.
“ We came here to awaken our people to resist the criminal regime. I’m glad you have come in huge numbers to listen to our message,’’ He asserted.
I chose to have our rally in Nakaseke on Independence Day in order to pay respect to those fallen nationals who perished while fighting for the dream of a truly independent Uganda.
Nakaseke is the home to thousands or ten thousands of skulls of Ugandans who perished during the war that brought President Museveni to power 40 years ago yet it’s one of the poorest districts in the country, having pathetic roads, dilapidated schools, very few and poor schools.
Land grabbing is also rampant here, many places have no electricity and running water.
