PRESSURE ON MUHANGI AS FOB ENTER MARRIAGE WITH INTERIM UBF

Through their slogan of uniting advancing boxing throughout the Country, Friends of Boxing has made another milestone towards the development of game of boxing in the Country .
Friends of Boxing entered into a good marriage with the interim Uganda Boxing Federation .
Memorandum of Understanding between the two parties was signed at Uganda Manafacturer Association, Lugogo where Frank Luyinda represented FOB while interim President Sam Rukundo represented intetim UBF.
According to Frank Luyinda, FOB will provide facilitation for training camp , feeding and training garments.
Luyinda, went on to say that FOB will facilitate six boxers and three coaches who will travel to DRC ,Kinshasha , all the expenses including Visa fee, air ticket, accommodation, equipments for boxers and coaches who will travel with the team for African Boxing Championship.
The meeting was also attended by members of the Uganda Proffessional Boxing Commission.
According to the interimUBF President, Sam Rukundo, the National trials for boxers who will participate in the forthcoming African Boxing Championship will be held from 19 September to 21September at Gozalo sports arena near Bugema university Kampala campus in Makerere kikumi kikumi.
According to Rukundo, only boxers who are in National open and proffessional will be allowed to participate in the National trials and every boxer who will participate will be required to present his or her National ID.
Registration for the trials will be closed on Thursday, 17 September at 6pm and is free of charge.
