The Minister of Energy and Mineral Development Ruth Nankabirwa has been recognized by the World Book of Records for her distinguished service rendered to the masses.
Nankabirwa was last week honored with the award during a ceremony in which five other Ugandans were also honored.
The others were Deputy Prime Minister Rebecca Kadaga, deputy BoU governor, Augustus Nuwagaba, head of the State House Investors Protection Unit, Col Edith Nakalema, businessperson Nelson Tugume and Hilary Musoke a.k.a Kisanja
Nankabirwa was recognised for her efforts geared towards women empowerment, renewable energy, and refugee support in Uganda.
‘’I was deeply honored to receive the Certificate & Medal of Excellence from the World Book of Records UK at the House of Commons, London.’’ Nakanbirwa’s Linkendin reads in parts.
