As we are drawing near this years general elections, NRM trains trainers of supporters who will work as the party’s polling agents in the different polling stations through out the country.
High ranking party cadres like the Deputy speaker of parliament Thomas Tayebwa , Attorney General Kiryowa Kiwanuka and the electoral commission Chairman Dr. Tanga Odoi facilitated the training.
Dr. Tanga urged the trainer of trainers not to focus on their remuneration but put all their efforts towards winning the elections.
“ All our agents will not this time wear our colors to avoid being intimidated by the opposition especially National Unity Platform supporters,” Dr. Tanga said.
The Chief ‘Muzzukulu’ Hadja Namyala said that the training said that the training is timely because her party has been losing court cases in some incidences due to lack of declaration forms because our agents in the former election cycle didn’t know what to do
