Ugandan Body Builders from the Central Region are to showcase their muscle building strength competition at Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA) showground this Saturday. The four-man body builders made the revelation at a press conference held at Mamerito Hotel in Bweyogerere Division of Kira Municipality on Wednesday.
Mr. Kenneth Sekilanda, the Chairman of Central Region Body Builders Association, said a whooping UGX 10 million is up for winning contestants, where the highest winner shall go home with UGX 5 million. He said the body building competition will attract other participants from the East African Community (EAC) bloc and will be held from Midday of 20th September 2025.
Mr. Denis Kisakye, the body builder’s organizer and Brand Manager, said body building is a growing industry in Uganda and that; their organization is committed to promoting body building to keep Ugandans energetic and healthy.
The Ugandan body builders’ team to participate in the competition are in their late 20s and early 30s. They include; Nelson Conrad Masagazi, Phahood Miyagi,Francis Ssemuyaga and Martins Bagulli.
According to the organizers, entry to the UMA Body building competition venue will go for; Bronze UGX 20,000 Silver UGX 50,000 Gold UGX 100,000 and Table UGX 1 Million.
