Real Stars Sports Awards CEO Isaac Mukasa handing the acolade to Julius

Cranes starboy Allan Okello scoops the June, 2026 Fortebet Real Stars Sports footballer of the month award for the second consecative time this year having help his club Young Africans SC of Tanzania to clinc the 2025/2026 league title.
Okello who joined Young Africans in January from Vipers SC netted 14 times and made 11 assists in just 24 appearances finishing 3rd league top scorer despite only playing half season. He helped his club Young to beat JKT Tanzania 3-0 on the final day tofinish on 75 points, 2 adrift of Simba SC.
He was unable to personally collect his award having lost his uncle last week and was still in Lira for the feneral, however the accolade was received by his friend Anita Naluswata.
Ukasha Matovu scooped the award for boxing beating Kato Kazibwe and the only female boxer nominated Emilly Nakalema.

Matovu who turns up for COBAB boxing club had spent a fully with out playing but upon his return tom the ring he managed play very well in the league.
The lightmiddle weight (71kg) after receiving his accolade said that this has greatly motivated him and he is now eying qualifying for the Olympic games due next year.
“ I don’t take this achievement lightly, its a motivation for me to eye big things and to work hard even for the next months award,” Matovu reacted.
Hassan Alwi who is also a lecturer at International Unviversity of East Africa (IUEA) worn the award for the motorsport while Yasin Wasswa who plays for Buffalos worn that for the Rugby discipline.
The slain Rugby star Sydney Gongodyo was also recorgnised and was presented with an award as a wayn of recorgnising his contribution to the growth of the sport.
All winners receive brown evelope containg UGX 500,000 curtsy of Fortebet Uganda and Jude color solutions.
