The first ever intercity fight to be organized in Uganda climaxed on Friday night at Gulu City. The battle was between the host which is Gulu taking on the Giants from Kampala City. The battle was held at Bomah hotel which is the biggest hotel in Gulu City and was organised by friends of boxing and fully sponsored by fortebet Uganda. The first bout on the card was between a Congolese born from team Kampala Irene Kyaviro winning Lamaro Pheobe aka Die Hard from Gulu City.
Out of the 12 bouts played on the day. Kampala City won 6 bouts while their opponents Gulu City won 4 bouts and the two bouts went into a technical draw.
The main fight of the day lasted for five minutes after the refree stopped the fight after Yakub coach throw out the towel in the second round to avoid his boxer from recieving more punches from Kaunda Kenneth of Gulu City.
The battle night was attended by fortebet officials led by their brand ambasaddor Alex Muhangi and some Government officials in Gulu City.

Duku Ronald from Gulu City and Ivan Magumba from Kampala City recieved each a smart phone from fortebet after putting on a good fight which ended in a technical draw.

4-Kakanyero Jerry Norbert of Gulu City won Ismail Kibirige of Kampala City in the 4 round of super welterweight.
5-Rubangakene Ronald of Gulu City vs Katabi Joseph of Kampala City in super bantam weight went into a draw.
6-Laker Sarah Katongole of Gulu City won Marion Akankunda of Kampala City in the 4 round of super light weight.
7-Shetebo Beinfait of Kampala City won Odong Jimmy of Gulu City in 6 round of super feather weight.
8-Jesca Nakiridde of Kampala City won Lakica Sharon of Gulu City in the 4 round of super bantam weight.
9-Wandera Ronnie of Kampala City knocked down Oryang Alfred of Gulu City in second round of cruiser weight.
10-Sowali Sentongo of Kampala City won Lucky Ogenrwot of Gulu City in the 6 round of super bantam weight.
11-Duku Ronald of Gulu City vs Magumba Ivan of Kampala City went into a technical draw.
12-Kaunda Kenneth aka Mayweather of Gulu City technically knocked down Magumba Yakubu aka King of the Ring in the second of 8 rounds in light weight.
