Three people have been confirmed dead in a fatal road crash that occurred today 5th October 2026 at approximately 9:30am along Namirembe Road near KK Building.
The crash involved motor vehicle UBN 689A, Toyota Drone whose driver reportedly lost control while descending Namirembe Road. The vehicle knocked a pedestrian who died om spot before colliding with a tricycle UEF 033P and a motorcycle UFE 015X Bajaj Boxer. It subsequently came to rest against another Toyota Hiace UAS 346W.
Other four people sustained severe injuries and were rushed to hospital for medical attention. Two of the injured persons later succumbed to their injuries, bringing the confirmed death toll to three.
