UGUgandan Destroyer Defend UPBC Title

The joint meeting between Uganda Professional Boxing Commission and the Uganda Boxing Federation interim committee held at club obligato on Bombo road to discuss the matters concerning proffessional and amateur boxing went successful.
The meeting started with the arrival and registration of boxing stake holders ,followed with the prayer and later introductions by both UPBC and UBF interim members.
The meeting was largely attended by champions , the likes of Frank Kiwalabye, Joey Vegas Lubega, Badr Lusambya , Meddie Kabona and Salimat Tebesigwa who have just won her WABA belt in Ivory Coast after knocking down Nigerian opponent in the seventh round.
UBF interim committee gave their side of issues in regard to interim regime and also UPBC gave their side of events has been happening were among the issues discussed in the joint meeting between the two patterns.
The meeting also gave one minute to mourn for the death of Tooro King, Omukama Oyo Nyimba who passed away last week in USA after fighting with cancer.
The meeting also recognised the success of Salimat Tebesigwa for winning the WABA belt and becomes the first Ugandan and African female to win that belt.
The meeting later joined by Ugandan destroyer, Justin Jjuko and on his remarks, Jjuko defends UPBC on the ongoing issues with their competitor UBF.
Jjuko, said in the whole World , there is nothing like one Federation takes both proffessional and amaetur .
Jjuko, the last Ugandan boxer to win Uganda a gold medal in the common Wealth Games went on to give his side why Bombers failed to win any medal in the just concluded Common Wealth Games.
Jjuko, said poor administration was the major factor why Bombers failed to win any medal.
The meeting was closed with the word of prayer.
