The former Uganda National Boxing team (Bombers) captain Babu Yusuf a.k.a Rolling Tiger, through Babu Boxing Promotions has launched a second Show down where he is going to tassel out with Tanzania’s veteran boxer Mbaruku Kheri on August 22nd 2026 in the heavy weight as the main fight.
Speaking to the sports reporters during the launch, Babu sounded very confident although he is going to meet a more experienced boxer this time round. He said that he is not frighten by the veteran’s CV.
“ Although my opponent is more experienced with a heavy boxing CV, I am not afraid of him, I am not also a joking subject given the ranks have passed through he will get to know who I am come August 22,’’ he said.
“I am now well prepared and I still have a plenty of time to prepare and get organised for the show, I just want to call upon my fans and the lovers of the boxing game not to miss the contest because its going to be stunning,’’ he explained.
Mbaruku, 43, the Dar es salam based boxing veteran boost with and experience of 35 professional bouts and 92 rounds with a rating of 85% kos while Babu who is 20 years younger than him has just turned professional with only 5 bouts.
The second Show down to sanctioned by Uganda Profession Boxing Commission to be organised by Babu Boxing Promotions will take place At- Perliament Lounge in Nansana, Wakiso , will also feature several under cads which include that of Muwanguzi Tom vs Amos Kell (Superwelter), Nsamba Ronald vs Kalyowa Nasri (Supermiddle), Ssembatya Arafat vs Ibrahim Bisso(Middleweight), Muwonge Fahad vs Ssebaalu Araphat (Lightweight), Kyobe Joan vs Mandefu Dest (Lightweight), Lubega Derrick vs TBA (Superfeather ) and Muwada Makanika vs TBA (Lightweight).
The tickets will cost UGX 20,000, 50,000 and a table 500,000.
