Seventh-day Adventist Church to Tackle Youths Challenges Using Social Media Evangelization

The Seventh –Day Adventist  President  in-charge of  the Association of East and Central Africa Division Pastor Tom Ogalo  launch OneVoice27 , a Mission for  All which featuring the public evangelistic theme, “ All Things New Starts Here.’’

According to pastor Ogala, the mission is aimed at reaching out to the youths globally especially in the regions he is leading. He said the youths specifically in the East and Central Region are diver stated with several challenges such as rampant unemployment, drug abuse which needs to be tackled not only by governments but also the church.

The massive evangelization theme we have launched today will help us reach the youths globally and try restore hope among the them and reduce on drug abuse as well as crime levels,’’ Pastor Ogalo said

launch occurred at Najjanankumbi Church; where the President of the Uganda Union Mission of the Sventh-day Adventist Church Pastor Samuel Kajoba said that the church is committed to restore the lost hope among the youth through preach via social media.

Pastor Kajoba cautioned the youths to stop using social media in a negative way but rather use it to enhance their spiritual and social-economic aspects something he said will help to change their lives positively.

“ The major of the youths globally are using social media so our church is going also to use this form of communication to reach out to them through evangelization. Through this we think we help to restore hope thus reducing on the enormous challenges that affect the younger people directly particularly in Uganda,’’ Pastor Kajoba said.
